Verifying a contractor (British Columbia)

Verifying a contractor is your responsibility. Before authorizing any work, independently confirm current general liability insurance, current workers' compensation coverage, references from recent local septic work, BBB standing and complaint history, a physical local business address and years working in the Regional District of Nanaimo, and, for any repair or replacement, their authority to obtain the local permitting required.

Pricing

Septic Tank Pumping Nanaimo does not set prices. Any price you're quoted comes from the contractor, not from us, and it depends on your specific tank, its size, and how easy it is to reach. Anyone who quotes a firm price sight unseen is guessing. Confirm the number with the contractor before any work starts.

Confirming a contractor

We don't check any contractor's insurance, licensing, or credentials, so that's on you before you hire. Ask to see proof of liability insurance and workers' compensation, get references from recent local septic work, and confirm the price in writing before work starts. A local contractor who works the Regional District of Nanaimo and will be around for your next pump-out is worth more than the cheapest cold quote.

General information only

Cost ranges and general septic information on this website are general information for the Nanaimo area, not a quote, a guarantee, or professional advice about your specific tank and system. The only binding number is a price a contractor provides after seeing the actual tank and system.
